Rub-a-dub-dub … Tubs!

rub-dub-tubs
Rub-a-dub-dub
What plastic-y tub
From Container & Packaging Supply?
They come big and small,
Wide, narrow, and tall,
Which one is the one I should try?

Container & Packaging Supply has a bunch of tubs available. Which one would be best for a butcher, a baker, or a candlestick maker? There aren't any that are quite big enough for all three of those men to fit in. In fact, none of the tubs are big enough for a grown man to fit in. The butcher, baker, and candlestick maker can probably each get a finger or two into the 4.5 oz. tub, and maybe they could each get a shoeless, pointy-toed foot into the 3-gallon dairy container. They'll be in each others' personal bubbles, and there is no way they'll get far when they go out to sea, but technically, they'd all be (partially) in the tub! Let's take a look at how each of these professionals could use various tubs.

The butcher is going to be working with raw meat, so he's going to want to use containers that can go through the dishwasher. Because really, who wants to reuse a container that had a bunch of raw meat juice in it? He also needs to make sure to use only food-safe containers. Luckily, all of the tubs at Container & Packaging Supply are food-safe, so the butcher has a wide selection to choose from for all of his butchering needs.

The baker will probably want to use some tubs for packaging his delectable cookies and treats. Like the butcher, he needs food-safe containers, and so he can use any of our tubs. If he's selling his delicious cookies, he'll want to look for containers with high clarity so that his customers can see how appetizing the cookies look.

The candlestick maker needs to avoid HDPE (high density polyethylene) tubs. The HDPE tubs are heat-resistant enough to withstand a run through the dishwasher, but hot wax might melt them. Instead, he should go for the polypropylene (PP) tubs. These are much more heat-resistant, and the candle wax will be less likely to melt the tubs. He will also want to look at the candle glass and tins for his final products.

There are a lot of other uses for the tubs at Container & Packaging Supply. Try them for dairy, salsa, jams, and more foods. They come in sizes ranging from 4.5 oz. to 3-gallon. Don't try floating to sea in one of them, but try them out for your food and non-food products. And don't forget the lids!
