Label craze countdown
label-craze-countdown
Labels are an important aspect of your product. They are the essence of your company, reflected through artwork and design details. There are many fashions and styles to choose from when creating a label. Study up on the competition and browse the countdown below spotlighting current label trends.

1. ECL “ Extended Content Label

Extended content labels are new in town. Forget LOL and BFF, ECL is the acronym to remember. Trust me, it's time to consider reinventing your label.

ECLs can come in a variety of different forms. The peel back and fold out format allows the label to retain its typical look, the advantage is that the label can include extra information in a seemingly invisible additional label strip. The hidden content can be revealed by peeling back the label and folding out the rest. The booklet label is another option, where the additional information is attached to the label in a book-like collection of sheets.

Here’s an example of ECLs in action. In 2002, the FDA began expecting cosmetic drug products to include their drug information somewhere on their packaging. Some company's labels were too small to display the details. ECLs solved their problems by providing an expanded printable area with room for the drug panel and more!

2. Special Effect Design Concepts
Does your label stand for something? It could reflect the strength of your company through bold lettering or the many uses of your product through varied designs. Consider expressing more with an updated look.

Labels are often considered more attractive when they appeal to multiple senses. Products are glowing on display with the use of foil in the label. Designs made by touchable raised finishes provoke the customer to pick the product up.

3. FiberStone
Labels are now supporting the green movement. The product of this union is FiberStone. Similar in appearance and features to a film label, Fiberstone is not created from trees or water. It's also a saving material for corrosive products due to its resistance and endurance to harsh conditions.

There is no end in sight for label variance. Let your creative visions flow. Keep ECLs, special effect design concepts and FiberStone label innovations in mind while generating ideas for your label.

Don't know where to start with your design? We are here to help!
