finding-the-right-cosmetic-container-step-1
Ok, so when it comes to cosmetic containers, we have you covered. If we want to make a skin cream, CPS has some great options in the way of double-wall jars that are classy and popular for creams. If we're going to do lip balms we have lip balm tubes for that too. So access to pretty much any makeup container you need is taken care of. But how do we narrow it down to what kind of container works best for your cosmetic product?

Let's start with the basics, the prep work. We'll start with skin care. Traditionally we have oil cleansers, sugar scrubs, and microdermabrasion. As you're formulating your skin care product it will most likely fall into one of these three categories. Once we have determined what type of skin treatment we have, we will be picking a cosmetic container for them. They will usually follow one of these guidelines:

Oil Cleansers are natural oils typically packaged in bottles like PET since they have a good resistance to essential oils. Typically these will be dispensed with either a regular pump or a treatment pump.

A sugar scrub can be a lot of fun. It's almost always packed in a jar. With glass and clear plastic being the most common. Sugar scrubs look enticing and usually have attractive colors that are displayed proudly. You can include a small spatula or spoon to appeal to the whimsy of your clientele.

Microdermabrasion creams are generally packaged in a double wall jar, although some will use tubes. Jars make it easy to scoop out and easily identifiable on a store shelf. While tubes make it easy to dispense and use for travel.

Continue to step 2
