CPS Presents the 1st Annual Unconventional Use of Packaging Contest

cps-uupcGeorge Bernard Shaw once said: The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man. Well CPS fans; now is the time to be unreasonable. Don't try and talk me out of it I’ve made up my mind, and no quantity of Girl Scout cookies will change it. (Although you are welcome to try; you can send all cookies to CPS Attn: Ty) Now that you’ve succumbed to the desire to send me Thin Mints and Samoas I'll explain the basic principal of our contest: Every year we see millions of containers being used to market products or provide storage. This is great! It's exactly what they are intended for. However if you have found an unconventional use for your containers or closures, we want to see it. We want to see it so much that we're willing to give you prizes for it! So did you make a lamp shade out of our two Gallon Square pail (<a href=https://www.containerandpackaging.com/item/P102P>P102P</a>)? Perhaps you made a string of hanging lights from <a href=https://www.containerandpackaging.com/catalog/plastic-boston-rounds/40/>1oz. Boston Rounds</a>? Or maybe you built the world's greatest Halloween costume using nothing but your imagination and a ridiculous amount of metal lids. Frankly, if you’ve done something that defies the logical use of a container or closure we want to reward you for it. Show us what you got! Our grand prize winner will get $500 cash! and our runner up will get $251 (we talked about rounding this to $250 but we didn’t want to appear cheap.)
