CPS debuts new comic serial. The Bottles

cps-debuts-new-comic-serial-bottles<p>We love packaging. Probably more than sane, mentally-healthy people should. So when it comes down to it, it's hard not to want to make packaging seem a bit more human. After all, who hasn't put googly eyes on their bottles and played with them like dolls or action figures? So it really is just me then?</p> <p>We found a way to personify packaging even better with our new serial, <em>The Bottles</em>. This periodic publication will appear on our <a href=https://www.facebook.com/containerandpackaging>Facebook</a>, <a href=https://twitter.com/cpstweets>twitter</a> and <a href=https://www.pinterest.com/conpak/packaging-funnies/>Pinterest</a> pages. Our hope is that you'll find them entertaining as we explore what life would be like if everything was packaging. So feel free to enjoy the antics.</p> <p>The series is drawn, inked, and scripted by Ty Petersen with Keith McCauley taking care of the digitizing and editing. If you do work in the packaging industry our hope is that you'll get a laugh and share with your colleagues.</p> <p>This has been a deeply personal project for me. For a good portion of my youth I wanted to be a comic artist (also a deep-space astronaut, whip-toting archeologist, and a not-really-famous-or-noteworthy voice actor). I'm deeply grateful for the opportunity to fulfill three of those childhood fantasies in my adult years. Now if only I could convince CPS to start a space program.</p> <p>I really hope you enjoy this series.
